Lamb Stincotto is a succulent pre-cooked lamb shank, enhanced with a selection of fresh Italian herbs and vacuum sealed in an aluminium bag to give an ambient shelf life of 18 months.
Because the lamb has an exceptionally good flavour it is ideal for simple serving with fresh seasonal vegetables or for incorporating into more elaborate dishes. The meat has a wonderful aroma and is also very tender, falling away from the bone with ease. The average weight of each portion is 380g (the minimum weight is 300g as declared on the label) which provides a very generous meal for one person.
The long shelf life of the product gives you complete flexibility to add another meat dish to your menu at short notice.

Cooking instructions
For best results:
Remove the lamb shank from the bag and roast in a medium oven for 15/20 minutes.
Alternatively:
The lamb shank can also be boiled in the bag for 15 minutes and then finished off under the grill or in the microwave (depends on the wattage of your microwave) for added
colour.
