iB Food's Artisan Ice Cream Mix offers double bonus for creative chefs -
Authentic Italian Ice Cream and 80% profit margins
iB Food has launched a new range of Artisan Ice Cream bases and
flavourings which allow the creative chef to develop an original, innovative dessert, whilst enjoying profit margins of not less than 80%.
All that is required to create the rich, soft ice cream for which Italy is renowned is the iB Food Stellamix base, plus milk, sugar, an iB Food
flavouring paste (21 natural flavourings to choose from) and a small
batch freezer. Preparation time is just 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the type of machine used.
The skill in producing premium quality ice cream lies in maintaining the correct balance of base
ingredients throughout the pasteurisation and freezing processes. The iB Food Stellamix base
overcomes this problem by retaining the correct combination of water, sugar, fats, non fat milk
and other solids throughout, thereby guaranteeing perfect artisanal ice cream every time.
In addition to the more popular wild strawberry, lemon, and raspberry, the range of flavouring pastes has many unusual flavours including
Moucoco (a blend of caramel fudge and coconut strands), almond nougat, Sorrento walnut and mango, plus traditional Italian liqueurs such as Di
Saronno Amaretto and Mandarinetto Isolabella.
This diverse choice provides the chef with complete flexibility to create a unique dessert. Also, when compared to industrial ice cream,
due to the stability of the base artisan ice cream can be mixed with a greater variety of additional ingredients. For example, fresh fruit and nuts, liqueur, fruit sauces and syrups can all be added successfully and
this provides further scope in new recipe development.
